Forums WordPress plugin

When it comes to Forums inside or with blogs, there certainly is no shortage of them out there. When you Site Administrators are going through WordPress and their Multisite 3.1 you might find it a good thing to actually have this useful little plugin as part of your lineup. One thing that people really do like is being able to post questions and comments about a specific blog in the forum for that particular blog. Sometimes the forum is about solving certain problems and other times it is simply a place for comments to be left for all to see.

Setting up this plugin is not that difficult once you have it installed and running. You would simply drop a particular little code in/on the blog post or page that you want to introduce the forum for. After that your users take over and set up the forum themselves. They get a little shortcode that is they can post anywhere that they want to allow others registered with WordPress to go there and look it over.

The thrill of this for so many is that they start feeling like they have gotten a bbPress installed in/on their blogs. This also gives them feedback and information that they were looking for to begin with. Most of the time the Forums plugin goes hand-in-hand with the Communities plugin perfectly; as a matter of fact, all of the plugins for WordPress’ Multisite 3.1 are designed to work together to make your WordPress blog site the talk of your community. How many times have you readers commented on a forum post recently? How often do you comment on forum posts on you social media sites?

With the ease of understanding how to get started here and ease of use it is pretty obvious why so many pick these plugins. It is also great to be able to “sound off” as it were about something you have read. Sometimes it makes no difference whether you agree with the forum post and/or the responses or not; it is the ability to read and respond that counts. This is the point of this plugin to begin with. It is an easy way to bring people together from all over that might not have otherwise come together. Oh, should you decide to change a little after a certain number of forum posts, the “Upgrades Plugin” works well for that very thing folks!

Support System WordPress plugin

If there is one thing that everyone is going to need at one time or another it is the help of a very good Support System. In the case of using WordPress we are talking in terms of having somewhere to go to get your questions answered. This can be done through either the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of this particular plugin or via the support tickets that bring your concerns, questions and/or comments right to the particular blog site admin as well as to WordPress’ Admin staff to answer. Getting the plugin in is easy like the others WordPress offers are.

For the most part there are always going to be questions that need to be asked of the blog Site Admin – you in this case – and/or concerns that need to be addressed as well. With this particular plugin in both the Site’s Admin and its users have a really good and (sometimes) quick way to get those answers. Once you, as the site admin set up the site, download and install this plugin, you will be able to start putting up a list of FAQs for the users to quick refer to for answers. The twist here is that you can actually see if the information helped them or not by their yes/no votes.

If the FAQs do not help, there is always the handy little Support Tickets to go to. This part of the Support System allows your blog site users to send a Support Ticket to you to ask questions not answered by the FAQs, relay a comment or feedback to you or to just touch base on a previous matter and keep track of it. Getting to these two options is pretty easy. Once your user has filled out and sent the Support Ticket you, as site admin get a little e-mail alerting you to it. Once you reply, they also get an e-mail alert that there is a response for them to go get.

Updating the information on the Support Tickets and FAQs is a pretty simple matter. Once you or the user logs into your account it is a simple matter of a couple of clicks to update. This keeps everyone “in the loop” so to speak and aware of what is happening for and with whom. As with all the other plugins this works with all main browsers as well as WordPress Multisite version 3.1.

WordPress Multisite and Google Analytics WordPress plugin

If there is one thing that almost everyone loves about working online it is Google Analytics! Are you looking for a way to give this “power” to more than just those in your little community? Are you also looking for that particular little tool to use for yourself too? If you answered yes to either of these you are not alone! For the longest time all bloggers could do was to offer this little plugin to their specific community users and friends, but could not use it themselves no matter what they did! This had so many crying out for a better answer to the question!

The biggest draw of this one is that you can offer it to those that are in your particular community and can use it yourself to keep track of the vital statistics of your site for yourself. It is rather annoying as all get out to not be able to track your own website’s progress and yet be able to see the site stats of all your community users. Another really neat feature that is a real hit with smaller blog sites and other bloggers is the fact that simply having and using the correct Analytics code allows this to happen.
The biggest improvement made recently is the fact that you, as the blog site’s owner and blogger can now use a “UA Code” of your own to change your status from “flying blind” to fully in control and aware of all the traffic to and comments about your site. As the site’s Administrator all you would need to go to us the “Options” section in the “Site Admin” tab to enter your personal code. Your users need not be left out of the fun and power of this tool either; all they need do is go to their “Settings” tab and then to Google Analytics.
You also need to know that you do have the ability as the Site Admin to make it so that only your site users that are paying customers can get to those stats. Having that kind of power and authority is natural when you are a website creator. Being able to offer your users that same tool and also to be able to use it yourself is a good distance from where we all stood not that long ago. This certainly one way to know exactly where you stand!

Paying For Blogging Rights – Pay To blog WordPress plugin

Are you a blogger that has a community blog site that has really been getting people’s attention lately and drawing bloggers by the droves? Have you ever thought about switching from offering free-of-charge access to all of your tools, plugins and hard work to a Pay to Blog setup? If you have thought of it and/or are contemplating this very idea, you are in good company! Many blog site owners today are deciding that they are going to take advantage of the power of the plugins that WordPress offers.
For many bloggers it is the power that the plugins WordPress providers to its users that draws them there. It goes without saying that all of the plugins are “Cross-Browser Tested” as WordPress puts it to work with many of the majorly used Internet browsers as well as being “Search Engine Optimized” and having “Guaranteed Updates”. This, and the fact that WordPress have in excess of 250 different plugins to choose from; makes them a very popular choice. There are plugins that you might want to look into that go along with this one “The Pop Over Plugin”, “Supporter Plugin” and “Upgrades Advertising”.
Now let us really get down to “brass tacks: as they say and start talking about whether you want to turn you blog site into a Pay to Blog site. For many this option is a very attractive one; especially if they have a lot of users on their blog site. This little WordPress tool is one that works with PayPal to collect the nominal fees that you decided to charge. Your user-bloggers are actually paying you for the rights to be able to use all the site tools available. It is relatively easy to get this feature started once you have downloaded and installed it. You go to your “Network Admin” tab, then to “Settings” and finally to “Pay To Blog” and proceed to set everything up. The time frames available are 1 month, 3 months and one year.
Once a user does their registration and logs into their account they are going to see a “Test Message” telling them of the time-frames and amounts charged to blog on your site. This is always renewable until they decide to go elsewhere. Once you get to the plugin itself you can very easily set up both the “Inactive” screen top message and the particular currency you are going to accept.

Community WordPress plugin – plugin for social network

When it comes time to make your presence known, seen and felt online you do have a few choices here. When it comes to making the most of Word Press, Multisite and BuddyPress you want to keep in mind that these are communities that are pretty similar to off-line communities in a lot of ways. The main differences here are all the features that the Communities plugin has to offer site and blog owners. You can easily create a community within the blog that has these features: wikis, user lists, discussion boards all their own, news dashboards and messaging facilities.
This is one plugin that not only works very well, but also works absolutely perfectly with the WordPress Multisite version 3.1. You are going to find that this has been heavily “cross-browser tested” meaning that it will work on common browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to name a few. It is also “Search Engine Optimized” so that all the search engines out there can easily find your blog content. You will also get “guaranteed Updates” as you go along so that you know exactly what is happening as quickly as it comes about.
One of the things that is so blessed popular these days are social networks. Is it any wonder though? The best thing about these Communities is that you can make you blog site look and feel like it is a social media site without it actually being one. These three plugins are part of that experience and equation: Avatars Plugin, Friends Plugin and Messaging Plugin. All of these together make you experience and that of your users so much more user-friendly and fun. It is also a pretty serious thing as well.
When someone does want to get their own little online community going they are a couple of simple steps away from that happening. To create the community you/the user goes to “Communities” tab and you/they are on the way to getting a new community going. Once the community has been created simply post away on the blogs and let others know about the community. For many this idea is one whose time has definitely come! Being able to post comments on blog posts is just the start here. Posting responses to topic in the Community Message Board is a breeze and a fun way to make yourself heard.

It is a fact that there cannot be complete protection against robotic signups – therefore, some consider not point in having a protection. And it is for this reason that this plugin has been developed – it eliminates sign-up email verification.
The Reason for Removing email verification from signups
Usually, a user signing up for a blog receives an email containing a link that has to be clicked in order to activate the user name or blog.
