Some links are affiliate which means that the website with these links receive payment whenever a web user clicks on them to purchase an item from another web site. Though this should never let a blogger promote items on which he or she lacks belief. For those readers who stick on these web sites long enough, they would soon find me trivializing some companies that truly pay very handsome commissions on every sale through affiliate links. Thus am going to show you what works the good way for me.
Could you tell lie to used-car salesman who is up to no good?
We all are tired of stupid pitches on sales. We get sick whenever we see banners that promise to make $8000 on a $3000 investment every month. Lies make us only wish we knew the truth. Some websites and blogs have even gotten the attention of the government thus the FTC has published an act that would govern how bloggers will be supposed to endorse given affiliate products.
That makes one mad and it’s very sad that money-hungry websites have led to that. So let’s be truthful as its fun filled and feels wonderful when one is honest.
Be credible, it’s worth it
In the long run, one makes a lot more by developing credibility with one’s readers. Whenever one recommends a worthless product since they provide a higher commission and somebody takes your word for it and purchases it, you will never get another visit from the reader. But if one is honest and only recommends good and useful products, your readers will never leave.
The bible too says, “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.”
I consider myself as an ethical-affiliate-marketer thus I tell my readers that I get paid for sales from certain links. This is due to experience that has taught that while deceptive practices for sale lead stray, transparent and honest sales mechanisms sticks one to the way. Since my ways are honest I always have a conscience that is very clean. Which means on enquiry I would tell the likes and dislikes about affiliate links on my site and tell of the share of profit cut out for me?
Always remember to be honest as your readers and followers would always appreciate this. The adage puts it better, “Honesty pays”.
