The existing script is written in the smarty framework so the developer must have smarty experience. There are no existing users in the database so the database is clean and empty, no need to move over existing users.

We will also need the registration forms updated to have a field for the user to enter their zipcode and this field must be required.

The candidate will be required to implement the zipcode search across the site, that includes the forward facing index “quick search” and the interior “quick search” and “power search” options.

If the candidate is able to complete this work we have other requests for updates.

The project is simple: it’s a small web application to manage queues of employees. And to see if they are out for work or looking for work today.

To give you a simple idea. My client wants his employee to make a queue by sms text.

There will be two rows on the interface.
1. People on the queue
2. People who have been given work

When employees send a text message with their employee number they’ll automatically be on the list.(row 1)

All their employees will be identified by given code e.g. 01, 02, so the text message they will be sending will only contain 01 or 02.

As customer can also be on the queue in person the client will also have the option to insert people into the queue (row 1).. the employer can also send text messages to inform a specific client an information.

When an employee is given a work he’ll be transferred into row 2.

You can use any web SMS providers. E.g. bulksms.com ( but I’m open to anything as long as you have had some experience).
