Web Designer to help me get ready for launch (Anywhere)

Quick Summary of tasks:

  1. Update a PSD to XHTML cut that was done in a hurry and doesn’t support IE6.
  2. Make my logo look good with diagnol striped gradiant so that gradiant can go back on.
  3. Shrink some icons (4 from 64x to 32x or so)
  4. Help design/clean up my internal pages (PSD was for landing page only, interior pages w/ forms aren’t as nice)
  5. Help me re-organize the main feature page of my site (it’s currently a list of 4 things – with aforementioned icons – and I’d rather it be tabs).

I’m not a designer, don’t pretend to be, but really respect the work you do and the impact it has on my product and my customers.  I have some ideas but I’m not stubborn, show me there’s a better way and I’ll adapt.

I don’t necessarily need one designer to fulfill all 5 tasks and would be happy to split out the work, or not.  Again, whatever works.

I’d like you to be available by IM or Skype within reason.  I think we should be able to kick off or do reviews over skype.  I won’t hound you 24×7 or expect you to be working 24×7, I have a family, I get it.

I’ll at least get you access to the site so you can make a better estimate.  I’ll also give you screenshots describing the tasks I mentioned above.  I can give you access to the markup and css if you need it for your estimate.  It’s in rails, so I might just give you the rhtml for the layouts.  I have the original PSD and files for the logo and the design.
