I am looking for someone to create an extension for Joomla 1.0.15 that will manage
the download of a client’s software, or set it up using exisitng plugins if you think that would be a better option.
Client won’t pay for migration to Joomla 1.5 (which would make everyone’s life
easier) so we are stuck with 1.0.15… but they want Joomla to manage the download
(1 file for registered users).
I need someone to either setup or
code an extension that will manage the download of one .exe file, but
also require people to register to download it, then have the client
able to see who registers to download. I downloaded Docman, but feel it
is overkill for my needs (and I am confused by it)—is there someone
that can help me set this up? I am happy to pay.
What I need is:
1. a page with a login/register option, that captures the email address (can probably use current user management?)
2. After registration, directs to the download.
3. Allows client to view registrations and downloads in the backend.
