There are many systems to carry cargo and performance tests on Web applications.
But I can not find any that works directly as a web service , configurable via forms and departing from reports in multiple formats to statistics from excel charts.
That would save us from having to install any of the existing applications, learn how to configure, secure servers and bandwidth requirements, …
The system would require a large investment in bandwidth and processing capability but I see a clear business model even allowing free accounts to test the system and payment accounts for more serious things.
Who would not pay 40 € (to say the least) to be able to do such tests without losing an entire day documented, configurations and installations?
Internally, the system could use any of the existing systems. And the development would be hard to implement a previous layer (the graphic) and a final export to different formats of the results.
Also, with a little more difficulty, it could cause the system holds a wide network of servers in different continents to make the tests more comprehensive and customizable.
This idea has emerged from a conversation, not as in-ror is the list.
Jaime Iniesta has commented on his concern that this system can be used for Web applications putear third generating a lot of false burden on them, but Ceritium has come to the rescue by proposing a system of validating the style that allows Google Webmaster Tools corroborate your power on the implementation by placing a file in the root of your application.
Any idea that there is something like what hit you see? Comments?
