A study carried out by Jupiter Research , points out that the influence exerted by the blogs are generally higher than that of known (via social networks) to buy products.
Even so, the influence exerted by both blogs as by the contacts of social networks, is minimal but … well, it is a fact that is good to remember when selling advertising, huh ?.
According to the results, only 5% of the total respondents, said they had relied on a blog to make decisions to buy a product (I would take that line). But if we take only those who are frequent readers of blogs, the figure rises to 15%, which is not much … but at least it shows that when a person is identified with a site, is more likely to be based on the views of this for their decisions.
On the other hand, only 4% of all respondents said he hoped the contacts of social networks to make a purchase during the past year, which seems weird … but not so much if we assume that many of those contacts, they can not be just friends.
Do you believe that? Have you ever purchased a product based on what they said in a blog they read often? (My last Smartphone I bought based on the views of a site that I keep for two years, so … you know my answer).
