New version of the drivers for NVIDIA graphics cards in GNU / Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris.
After several months of beta versions of the NVIDIA drivers, has been published version 177.80 for its most modern graphics cards. The fruit of this work, the driver now includes official support for cards GeForce GTX 260, GTX 280, 9800GTX, 900GT, 9700M GTS, 9500GT, 8100P, nForce SLI 780th, 750th SLI nForce, Quadro FX 770M, Quadro NVS 160M and Quadro NVS 150m.
The list of all the news is quite extensive, mainly bug fixes. Significantly improved performance in some operations drawing 2D and better coordination between the driver X and OpenGL, which makes the system composition of KDE 4 and Plasma applets work better.
