If we have to know the type of present system of time in SQL, we have to use a function which is known as GETDATE. The structure of this function is given below:
There is no need of an argument in the function GETDATE.

The real advantage of the function GETDATE is to know the exact time of a specific deal. If we have to get a specific value from a table then we have to give the input for GETDATE().on the other hand, it is possible to give a default value by using GETDATE() to a specific column.
SYSDATE is used for GETDATE in MYSQL and ORACLE.
