If there is one thing that everyone is going to need at one time or another it is the help of a very good Support System. In the case of using WordPress we are talking in terms of having somewhere to go to get your questions answered. This can be done through either the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of this particular plugin or via the support tickets that bring your concerns, questions and/or comments right to the particular blog site admin as well as to WordPress’ Admin staff to answer. Getting the plugin in is easy like the others WordPress offers are.
For the most part there are always going to be questions that need to be asked of the blog Site Admin – you in this case – and/or concerns that need to be addressed as well. With this particular plugin in both the Site’s Admin and its users have a really good and (sometimes) quick way to get those answers. Once you, as the site admin set up the site, download and install this plugin, you will be able to start putting up a list of FAQs for the users to quick refer to for answers. The twist here is that you can actually see if the information helped them or not by their yes/no votes.
If the FAQs do not help, there is always the handy little Support Tickets to go to. This part of the Support System allows your blog site users to send a Support Ticket to you to ask questions not answered by the FAQs, relay a comment or feedback to you or to just touch base on a previous matter and keep track of it. Getting to these two options is pretty easy. Once your user has filled out and sent the Support Ticket you, as site admin get a little e-mail alerting you to it. Once you reply, they also get an e-mail alert that there is a response for them to go get.
Updating the information on the Support Tickets and FAQs is a pretty simple matter. Once you or the user logs into your account it is a simple matter of a couple of clicks to update. This keeps everyone “in the loop” so to speak and aware of what is happening for and with whom. As with all the other plugins this works with all main browsers as well as WordPress Multisite version 3.1.
