Definition:
The full form of ARC is Advanced Readers Copy of any kind of book. This term is commonly used by those freelancers who are doing book reviews for newspapers and magazines. ARC is a paperback edition which is incomplete. That means there will be some pending work such as final cover design or proof reading. ARC are mailed to reviewers who are related to that publication or some times to the publishers itself. In some cases the editor of the publication will send the ARC to freelance writers for analyzing. Example – editor told to make review in 2 days but didn’t send the ARC till now.
