If there is one thing that almost everyone loves about working online it is Google Analytics! Are you looking for a way to give this “power” to more than just those in your little community? Are you also looking for that particular little tool to use for yourself too? If you answered yes to either of these you are not alone! For the longest time all bloggers could do was to offer this little plugin to their specific community users and friends, but could not use it themselves no matter what they did! This had so many crying out for a better answer to the question!
The biggest draw of this one is that you can offer it to those that are in your particular community and can use it yourself to keep track of the vital statistics of your site for yourself. It is rather annoying as all get out to not be able to track your own website’s progress and yet be able to see the site stats of all your community users. Another really neat feature that is a real hit with smaller blog sites and other bloggers is the fact that simply having and using the correct Analytics code allows this to happen.
The biggest improvement made recently is the fact that you, as the blog site’s owner and blogger can now use a “UA Code” of your own to change your status from “flying blind” to fully in control and aware of all the traffic to and comments about your site. As the site’s Administrator all you would need to go to us the “Options” section in the “Site Admin” tab to enter your personal code. Your users need not be left out of the fun and power of this tool either; all they need do is go to their “Settings” tab and then to Google Analytics.
You also need to know that you do have the ability as the Site Admin to make it so that only your site users that are paying customers can get to those stats. Having that kind of power and authority is natural when you are a website creator. Being able to offer your users that same tool and also to be able to use it yourself is a good distance from where we all stood not that long ago. This certainly one way to know exactly where you stand!
